It’s a Fire Up the Stove Kind of Day

We hope you are all staying warm! These days are perfect for letting a soup or stew simmer on the stove or cooking a roast low and slow in the oven to give your kitchen a little extra warmth. So far, our winter prep is holding up to the test of the weather. The heated water systems we installed this fall are doing their job and we made sure the pigs had extra hay to snuggle up under since they don’t have thick fluffy coats like the sheep and bovines. We spent the weekend doing inside house projects and computer work.
