Ben, Kelly and Fritz’s backyard flock of chickens are raised on fresh grass and get quite a bit of love from our little farmer Fritz. This summer we have a limited quantity of eggs to share with our Snug Valley Farm customers.
Farm-fresh Eggs
Almost all of our chickens lay large brown eggs but you may get lucky and receive a smaller blue egg in your dozen occasionally. These are laid by two of our favorite, bantam Araucana chickens named Eleanor and Mildred. If you get lucky with a blue, they taste exactly the same as the brown but just look magical.
